It was another strong performance from our girls this week. After a few different connections within the team, the girls were able to come together and present it all with a win on Saturday. There are lots of positives to take away from this game; it was great to finish with a win. Well done, girls.

C Grade
Right from the first whistle, the girls led the way, and after six long years, C grade has finally come away with the win! Strong teamwork and plays practised at training proved successful.
Christine and Samm made the most of available turnovers, and Sophie and Amanda rewarded the team's efforts by converting these turnovers into goals. Let’s keep the momentum going in the coming weeks.
Score: Beechworth 34 Wahgunyah 47
Awards: Hannah Nott (Club Award) Christine Deacon (Newmarket Hotel).
B Grade
B grade had an inconsistent game this week. We had excellent passages of play but could not maintain a flow. With players still learning to play with one another, the girls’ effort and teamwork are a testament to their grit and determination. We will continue to train and work on our connections.

A Grade
A grade came into the game this week with high expectations of playing as well as last week and came up against a tough, strong Beechworth team. Beechworth came out strong, and before we knew it, quarter-time break was 16-9 in the opposition’s favour.
With some positional changes throughout the second and third quarters, the court dynamics swung our way. The last quarter was goal-for-goal, and our battle is to play 60 minutes of consistent, cherish possession of the ball, and play a strong defensive and attacking game.
With some strong defensive turnovers by George Morgan Taleaka and Tahli. Our attacking end of Codij Caity Danni and Lauren stood strong and were patient with the ball and most definitely were elated, winning by 2 goals. Great game girls, well done
