The Corowa Sharks Swimming Club had an outstanding showing at the Pennant meet last Sunday at the Wodonga Waves pool.

Seven swimmers achieved personal best times, alongside numerous strong competition results.
Among the standout performances, Lily Kiely took first place in the 11-year-old girls’ 50m backstroke and placed third in both the 50m and 100m freestyle events.
Samuel Bellette also excelled, claiming first in both the 11-year-old boys' 50m and 200m breaststroke, as well as third in the 50m freestyle.
Lucas Bellette earned first in the 14-year-old boys' 200m breaststroke and came in second in the 50m butterfly.
Marshall Lees placed second in the 12-year-old boys' 50m breaststroke and third in the 50m backstroke.
Matilda Doolan secured fourth in both the 11-year-old girls' 100m freestyle and 50m breaststroke.
Austin Lees achieved fourth place in the 11-year-old boys' 50m butterfly, and Violet Kiely placed seventh in the 10-year-old girls' 50m butterfly.
All swimmers put forth a tremendous effort, improving on previous results and showing strong team spirit by cheering each other on.
Special thanks go out to the parents for their ongoing support and for volunteering as timekeepers throughout the event.
