Rutherglen Football Netball Club

It was a bumper crowd for the Good Friday match between Rutherglen and Wahgunyah at Barkly Park Rutherglen. While it was another tough week for Wahgunyah, the side showed plenty of spirit and determination. Rutherglen came away with the win but applauded their neighbouring club for not giving up. Cats 34.24-228 def Lions 1.1-7

The Good Friday clash with neighbouring respected rivals Wahgunyah gave Rutherglen the opportunity to hone their skills. A spirited match which saw the Lions never give up.

Plenty of intensity in the Reserves game with a great mix of younger and older players working together to defeat the determined Lions.
