This Saturday, March 22 sees CDHBU Power take on the Rennie Hoppers in a display of true sportsmanship for the annual Peter Murphy Cup in three games of football with the Power currently holding the cup.
Held at the Rennie Rec Reserve, all proceeds for the day will be donated to the Royal Children's Hospital Good Friday appeal.
Action will kick off with the Under 12s and 14s at 8am before the seniors battle it out from 10.30am.
The CDHBU Power and Rennie Grasshoppers have a long history of raising funds for the Good Friday Appeal, with close to $10,000 being raised over the past eight years from gate collections and barbecues.
