The Murray Rowing Association are proud to be hosting once again this year’s rowing regatta at Lake Moodemere.
The regatta dates back to the 1860s and predates the first running of the Melbourne Cup.
A strong field of athletes have already entered for the regatta which includes over 500 rowers for the weekend.

The three local rowing clubs will also be represented at the regatta.
Corowa Rowing Club will be vying for the overall most successful club for the regatta together with some strong clubs from Melbourne and Geelong.
Wahgunyah rowing club have a good presence in the masters events while Rutherglen Lake Rowing Club will field a men’s eight for the first time in 7 years.
The highlight of the regatta will be the Victorian Sprint Championships on the Sunday of the regatta for A grade events.
These sprint championships attract some of the best rowers from around the state and the action is always fast and furious in these events.
The regatta commences at 8:00am on Saturday and Sunday with a race almost every 3 minutes.
Entry is free and it is a great opportunity to come down to Lake Moodemere and join in the excitement of the beautiful sport of rowing.
