Kyabram Netball Association’s representative teams will go into the Shepparton tournament in a fortnight with plenty of confidence after the Under 11 team won the Golden City Netball Association’s tournament last week.

The Under 11 team, coached by Alicia White, won its section before taking an 11-0 semi-final win and a 7-5 victory in the final.
There were four sections of six teams involved in the Under 11 tournament, with the Kyabram team beating St Therese’s Brazill in the grand final.
It was a frosty start for the teams, but the rain held off and both Kyabram teams had a great day.
The Sara Kent-coached Grade 3 team came together to win five of its six games and just missed out on finals.
The tournament was the first time the Under 11 team had played together; three of the girls play Under 13 netball and the remainder play in Saturday Under 11 competition.
Kyabram Netball Association president Kayte Buntine said the result was fantastic and offered her congratulations to players, coaches and parents for a fantastic day.
