Richmond VFL took on the Northern Bullants at the Swinburne Centre on Sunday and Kaelan Bradtke was in fine form.
The Corowa product scored three goals in the first quarter alone, helping his team to a seven-goal blitz.
He continued to dominate throughout the game, kicking another goal in the second quarter and finishing with five goals in the first half.
His performance was crucial in helping Richmond secure a 47-point victory, with the final score reading 16.8 (104) to 8.9 (57).
Bradtke's aerial prowess was on full display during the game, but he also demonstrated his skill on the ground as a versatile player. It was an impressive debut in yellow and black for the young footballer, who had featured twice for Sydney's VFL side in 2022 playing against North Melbourne and Sandringham, averaging eight possessions.
Meanwhile, Jedd Longmire made his Collingwood VFL debut at Victoria Park against Coburg on Saturday.
The former Murray Bushranger had an outstanding performance, scoring two goals in the third quarter and making 12 disposals and 8 kicks. Collingwood's VFL Head Coach Josh Fraser said previously that Longmire had an "outstanding summer" training with the team and remarked that Jedd along with a handful of other players in the leadership group “not only epitomise our club values but also have a variety of experience and skills to contribute to the program”.

Collingwood dominated the game from start to finish, with a final score of 19.18 (132) to 5.8 (38), with Longmire playing a crucial role in the team's victory.
It was an impressive debut for the 18-year-old footballer, who will be looking to build on his success in future games.
While the Roos senior sides may not be able to take to the field this year, it’s a proud moment for the club who will be undoubtedly following the boys’ progress in the VFL with great interest.
Meanwhile, the AWJFL kicks off this Saturday with Corowa Rutherglen taking on Albury at the Albury Sports Ground.
Also, flying the flag high for Corowa Rutherglen will be the Roos C Grade girls, U17s and U15s who take on the Wodonga Raiders at Birallee Park in their first game for the O&M season with matches commencing at 9am.
Roos support coach Sophie Hanrahan told the Free Press last week that training for the juniors was going “really well”.
“There’s a lot of excitement with the junior netballers. A lot of them have come through the Corowa rep program. To see results of that rep program come into Corowa Rutherglen is really rewarding and great to see,” she said.
“They are very excited about the upcoming season.”
