On Friday night the under 16s were chasing East Albury total of 105 at Ball Park.
Jack Torney and Eli Lavis opened up and added 13 for the opening partnership before Lavis was dismissed for 3.
Torney was looking good before he unluckily played on for 10, the rain came shortly after with Corowa 2 for 19 off 7 overs.
The game ended in a draw.
Under 12s Div 1
The boys headed to Collings Park to take on Albury blue Friday night.
With the weather looking sketchy the game started a little early and we won the toss and elected to field. In drizzling conditions, the ball was slippery and not easy to handle with Albury getting off to a good start with the bat.
Youngster Bill Smith got our opening wicket with a great ball in the fifth over, but Unfortunately Corowa let a few chances go down in the field which let Albury get on top for most of the innings.
As we had some players away on school duties, we had our little fill in brigade help out in Hugh Hicks, Archer Hicks and Tex Rhodes. All showed what they can do with the ball and Archer got himself a well-deserved wicket in the 17th over. Austin Loughman backed that one up with his own and some great bowling.
Under 12s Div 2
The Under 12s Div 2 side got 5 overs into their game against Lavington at the Corowa high School before the rain came down. In the5 overs they had restricted Lavington to 8 runs with Mauritz Moolman collected a wicket.
