Maree Jones and Judy Black had a close tussle in the singles final and Judy came out on top, winning 25-17. Congratulations Judy on your 1st singles championship.
Judy and Rod Garthwaite will represent Corowa RSL Bowls Club at the Ovens and Murray Champion of Champions event on Sunday, February 12.
The winner goes on to the Victorian State Champions Week at Bendigo in April.

The Ladies pairs semi-finals are: Wendy Robb and Anne Summerill versus Ros Lewis and Lynne Mills. Maree Jones and Laurie Way versus Judy Black and Susie Swift.
The Men's Pairs semi-finals are: Brian Houlihan and Allen Bartlett versus Tony Coughlin and Raz Porter. Hayden Brockley and Jordan Thornton versus Wayne Lee and Rod Garthwaite.

Mid-week Pennant
The A2 side travelled to Rutherglen and won by 24 shots, cementing first place on the ladder.
Maree Jones, Tony Coughlin, Keith Mills and Allen Bartlett won 26-8. Judy Black, Ketch, Peter Summerill and Bryan Gee lost 19-20. Ken Mollinson, Raz Porter, John Danaher and Andy Dickins won 26-19.
The B1 side took the scenic drive to Myrtleford and came home with a 16 shot win putting them 3rd on the ladder.
Dom Carroll, Lex Thornton, Janet Davis and Anne Summerill lost 19-20. Brian Houlihan, Susie Swift, Gary Brown and Alan Holmquest lost 18-22.
Gary Turner, Laurie Way, Lynne Mills (using borrowed bowls) and Dave Lewis had a big win, 32-11, covering the other 2 rinks.
The B2 side travelled to neighbours, Corowa Civic and also had a good 31 shot win, putting them into 2nd spot on the ladder.
Roseann Prentice, Sam Nixon, Frank Gee and Les Pilfoot won 33-19. Lynne Ewison, Roly Nixon, Greg Keyte and Garry Neill won 23-17. Dux Macqueen, Darryl Brown, Wendy Robb and Peter Mills won 25-14.
Weekend Pennant
The A2 side had a tough game against Wodonga at home and went down by 13 shots putting them in 5th place.
Wayne Lee, Justin Robb, Rod Garthwaite and Jordan Thornton won 27-10. Keith Mills, Peter Summerill, Ray McLarty and Hayden Brockley lost 7-29.
Roger Mathers, Barry Warburton, Andy Dickins and Jim Walker lost 8-23. Maree Jones, Raz Porter, Allen Bartlett and Troy Brockley won 23-16.
The A4 side travelled to Benalla and came home with a 21- shot win putting them in 6th place.
Chris Reilly, Janet Davis, Les Pilfoot and Norm Carmody won 20-18. Lex Thornton, Lynne Mills, Susie Swift and Alan Holmquest lost 12-23. Judy Black, Tony Coughlin, Anne Summerill and Brenton Ketchell won 36-13. Gary Turner, Gary Brown, Dave Lewis and Lorraine Carmody won 26-19.
The B2 played Tungamah at home and had a 12- shot win, putting them in 3rd place.
Jim Ward, Brian Houlihan, Greg Keyte and Jeff Nixon won 24-14. Ros Lewis, Roly Nixon, Sam Nixon and Frank Gee drew 17 all. Ray Bourke, Tony Townsing, Wendy Robb and Peter Mills won 22-20.
