Corowa Civic travelled to Wangaratta on Tuesday to take on Moira in the Preliminary Final. Civic started off very confidently and had a handy lead. Midway through the game Moira looked as if they would overtake Civic, giving our spectators a big scare. Civic settled, and had some very handy shots to come out winners in the end 69 – 50.

A2 grand final between Corowa Civic and Corowa RSL will be played at Wangaratta on Tuesday, March 7, commencing at 10.00am.
The Grand Final of Weekend Pennant was played on Saturday. Civic will host to A2 game between Wodonga and Corowa RSL and also to the B2 game between Corowa RSL and Yarrawonga. Congratulations to Corowa RSL in B2 on your big win, and to Wodonga in A2 for winning this division.
A big thank you to the members who manned the score boards and other jobs for running this very important event.
Business House Fours
The final night of our Business House Fours was held on Wednesday evening in perfect weather, the participants all enjoyed themselves with great rivalry between the teams. A BBQ was provided for all players. A big thank you to the following business who have helped with their kind donations – Meat on the Murray, IGA and Woolworths.

The Greenacres Ladies 2-day Tournament will take place on Wednesday 3rd May and Thursday 4th May phone your entry to Lynne Pyke or Pam Tobias before 20th April.
The Presentation evening will be held at the club on Friday 21st April commencing at 6pm. The Annual General Meeting will take place on Wednesday 26th April at 5.30pm
Another game of Ladies 75up Consistency Handicap was held during the week with Sue Dawson defeating Caroline Lewis. Sue now progresses to the final and will play Estelle Hollingsworth.
On Sunday the final of the Men’s 75up Consistency Handicap was played between Brian Shipcott and Ian Lewis, Ian was in great form and came out winner. The Men’s Triples final was also played on Sunday between Col Hendren, Frank Martin and Graeme McIntosh against Steve Rodway, Col Webb and Brian McCarthy. Col, Frank and Graeme were in superb form and came away with a good win. Congratulations to all players.
