A-grade: Rumbalara 67 defeated Finley 49

Finley's A-grade team faced the formidable, undefeated Rumbalara on Saturday.
Aware of the challenge, particularly with a few injuries and key players absent, the team braced for a tough match.
Fortunately, B-grade netballers stepped up, playing vital roles and allowing the A-grade team to deliver a competitive performance.
It was an excellent effort against such a skilled side.
The attacking end displayed unwavering abilities, while the defence stood strong and held their ground against a very proficient Rumbalara.

B-grade: Finley 42 defeated Rumbalara 41
After a week off, B-grade took some time to settle into the game and were down by two goals at quarter time.
A strong second quarter saw Finley leading by two at the half-time break.
Rumbalara challenged in the third to hold a one goal lead, but the Cats came out firing in the last, showing courage and determination to fight out a nail biting one goal win.

C-grade: Finley 60 defeated Rumbalara 51
C-grade had an excellent start and possibly played their best quarter of netball all year in the first on Saturday.
After the first quarter Rumba made some changes and were determined to limit the Cats’ prime movers.
However, the Finley team showed resilience and kept the focus on controlling the game.
The last three quarters were an arm wrestle but the Cats held on to secure an away win.

C-reserve: No game.
Under-17s: Finley 50 defeated Rumbalara 47
It was a hard fought game with Finley coming away as very deserving winners by three goals.
Players adjusted well to tough conditions and focused on their game, staying positive and getting around each other.
The Essential Hair & Beauty award went to Addison Clarke for moving well in and out of the ring.
The Finley Bakery and Patisserie award went to Paige Gray for her attacking centre passes, feeding and for shooting strong.
Under-15s: Rumbalara 41 defeated Finley 15
The Cats’ defence worked hard all game, applying pressure and producing turnovers, but were unable to consistently reward their efforts in goals.
Melina Sneddon again played consistently to be awarded the Finley RSC award.
The Finley Bakery and Patisserie award went to Tilly Burton for her defensive pressure.
Under-13s: Rumbalara 22 defeated Finley 14
The under-13s worked hard and stayed positive in a game that was quite frustrating.
Unfortunately, Rumbalara got away in the second half.

Under-11s: Not scored.
The youngest Cats played a brilliant game. They were consistent for four quarters, fighting until the end.
The defensive pressure all over the court was exceptional and created various turnovers.
Fast movement of the ball and strong drives allowed the ball to smoothly transition into attack.
