Social Bowls Wednesday and Saturday Open Jackpot Pairs have again been well supported.
Last week the club had guests from Numurkah and North Ipswich.

The "pool" stands at $94 plus the green fee allocation.
All Social Bowls competitions are open events and all bowlers are welcome to play, enter on the available time sheets and dress is Mufti.
Anne Summerill has returned from the Gold Coast Australian Open, Anne was an official umpire.
Shawn McMahon had a successful tournament and had some tough competitive matches.
Next month, July, two of junior members will be representing the Corowa High School.

The past couple of seasons, the club have successfully promoted the social bowls- barefoot bowls, and with Club Coach Scott Widdison the club have gained new members and new players.
Many of these "new bowlers" have taken on roles on the General Committee and the Match Committee.
Congratulations to Jenny Lawrence who has taken on the position of Chair of Match for the 2024 - 25 season.
Corowa Civic Bowls Club
Wednesday and Saturday Social Bowls have been attracting good numbers, although rather cold when the sun went under clouds on Wednesday.
Saturday was a lovely sunny day with some of the members feeling too warm at times.
Wednesday winners: - Paul Hickey, Pam Tobias and Ken Taylor.
Runners up: - Lynton Ford, Ned Young and Brian Hone.
Saturday winners: - Pairs – Paul Hickey and Estelle Hollingsworth.
Triples – Peter Howell, Jude Willett and Brian Shipcott.
Overall winners – Graeme McIntosh and Marie Lewsey.
On Thursday afternoons from 3.30pm there are drills on the greens to help with the game, just come along you will be most welcome.

Corowa Indoor Carpet Bowls
On Sunday, winners on 18 and 16 (24) were Garry, Kerry Whalley, Jan Webber, and Keith Evans.
With the runners-up on 18 and 4 (22) being Anne Smith, Bev Barron, and Merylyn Milthorpe.
Tuesday afternoon winners on 16 and 16 (32) were Gwen Mills, Gloria McCluskey, and Ellen Buckley.
With the runners-up on 15 and 14 (29) being the grand old team of Nez Carnivale, Angela Clapton, Peter Manning, and Betty Clancy, who deserved nought but were smart enough to come second.
And on Thursday the winners on 17 and 16 (32) were Georgie Agnew, Anne Smith, and Peter Manning.
With the runners-up on 16 and 14 (30) being, Nez Carnivale, Kerry Whalley, and Doreen Pleming.
The club was sad to see the passing of two longtime members recently.
The club send their condolences to June Dodds and family for the loss of Peter. Peter was the Men’s Singles Champion many times, and together with June, also champion of the Mixed Pairs several times.
The club also send condolences to the family of Ruth Backhouse, who for many years was a solid worker for the club serving on the Committee.
