Dom Carroll (volunteer), Nate Jones, Cohen Wilcox, Cal Corcoran and Koby Widdison, under the guidance of Dom Carrol and Maree Jones, have been selected to represent Corowa High School in the Riverina Bowls Team. The students will play in Sydney June 2-5.

Mini Pennant commences April 26th and runs over four Saturdays, this is an open event and entry forms are available at the Bowls Veranda.
Open Saturday Jackpot Pairs commences in May at 1pm.
Annual Subscriptions can be paid at the Bowls Veranda Office, the Match Committee can collect and receipt your membership monies.
Annual Membership is $100.
Nomination forms are also available for Committee positions and Selection Committee members.

Corowa Civic Bowls Club
Last weekend a big group of bowlers had their trip away to Tumut, a great weekend enjoyed by all. Thank you to Tumut Bowling Club for making us so welcome.

We had two games of bowls while visiting, one on Saturday afternoon and another Sunday morning before returning home. Thank you to Ian Bilney for all the organising of this great weekend, a very big task, also thank you to Marshall Batteries for the donation of organising the bus. Thank you to Michael our bus driver, you did a great job.
On Wednesday morning the final of the Ladies 75 Consistency was played between Maree Lewis and Eileen Ide.

Eileen came away with the points, congratulations ladies on a great game, thank you also to Margaret Watson for being the marker.
The only other ladies’ event to be played is the Ladies Triples between Pam Tobias, Eileen Ide and Margaret Watson against Janet Davis, Sue Dawson and Annette Norman.
The men also have a few games to be finalised, please play these as soon as possible.
Thank you to all who turned up for the working bee last Friday morning, you have the club looking very neat and sparkling.
This weekend we host the Edinburgh Shield on both Saturday and Sunday, if members can assist with the catering and other jobs, please see Jude Willett or Pam Tobias.
On Friday 11th April 2025 our Presentation Evening will take place at the club. Add your name to the list on the notice board for catering purposes if you are attending. Come along for a good night out.

The Recycle Stubbies Day will be held on Sunday, April 27 commencing at 10.00am. Add your name on the entry sheet on the noticeboard for both to play bowls and for lunch.
The Ladies Open Fours to be played on Wednesday 7th and Thursday 8th May. Entries are being taken by Eileen Ide and Annette Norman or by email to the club.

Sunday afternoon social winners on 17 and 16 (33) were Ellen Buckley, Helen Bartel, Naz Carnavale, and Bev Barron. With the runners-up on 3 and 17 (20) being Peter Manning, Glenda Willett, and Tony Coppolino.
On Tuesday the winners on 15 and 19 (34) were Glenda Willett, Joan Catlin, Margaret Watson, and Betty Clancy. The runners-up on 17 and 5 (22) were Joan Adams, Ellen Buckley, Tony Coppolino, and Joan Fletcher.
And our Thursday winners on 15 and 17 (32) were Joan Adams, Merylyn Milthorpe, and Ian Day. And with Ken Pleming, Gloria McCluskey, and Tony Coppolino on 5 and 19 (24) being the runners-up.
