Cod season is open. The Corowa Anglers Club decided to hold an open event due to the lack of group camping space as a result of the floods.

Twelve members took part, spread across the Hume Weir, Loddon River, Lake Mulwala and Lake Eildon.
Best bag honours went to Jason Graham with a bag of 5 legal Cod, ranging from 55cm to 65cm from Lake Mulwala.
Largest Cod was 71cm to Karen Nelson on Lake Mulwala. In total the 4 fishing Lake Mulwala had a total of 11 legal Cod and returned approximately 100 undersized Cod as well.
Bryon Hamilton took out the Best Yellow belly with a 44cm taken from the Loddon River.
Good bag of Redfin was taken from Lake Hume and a trout and a small bag of Redfin out of Lake Eildon.
Cod are happy to take cheese and chicken in Lake Mulwala and the Redfin are still on the bite with worms and soft plastics.
