The complex will give community members from the west access to a new and much-desired Woolworths supermarket, BWS and café.
Andrew Liddell from Dellcorp Developments said works were well under way and on target to be completed by the end of the year.
“All of the concrete flooring has been poured and some of the refrigeration equipment is being installed,” Mr Liddell said.
“Trades are currently polishing the concrete floors, fitting out some of the cool rooms and undertaking plastering works. It’s very busy out on site at the moment with all the different trades.”
Although the project is running on time, Mr Liddell said the entire construction industry had battled with supply-chain delays and material shortages.
“We seem to be getting to the other side of those supply issues now,” he said.
“The builders have done a terrific job to keep us on schedule, as it’s not been an easy situation.”
As to the next stage of the build, intersection upgrades will soon commence on the Murray Valley Hwy and Elizabeth St.
Following that, Woolworths will begin fitting out its store, and the car park is to be sealed and finalised.
There is still 150sqm of vacant space available at the northern end of the complex for other retail stores or businesses to snap up.
