Teen hit by jet ski

The 16-year-old male swam to the Victorian side of the river’s bank where Victoria Police and Ambulance Victoria attended, Chief Insp Fuller said.

An Ambulance Victoria spokesperson confirmed paramedics were called to the incident around 7.15pm.

The teenage boy was transported by road to Echuca Regional Health in a stable condition with upper body injuries, the spokesperson said.

He was taken to The Alfred hospital in Melbourne on Friday morning where a spokesperson said he was in a stable condition on Monday, January 6.

NSW Police attended a short time after the incident occurred and spoke with people involved and witnesses, Chief Insp Fuller said.

Investigations into the incident are continuing, and any witnesses to the collision are asked to contact Moama police.
