Store manager Adrian Harris said the team would be dressing up all week from June 13 to19 to raise awareness and funds towards children with congenital heart disease, which is a leading cause of infant death in Australia.
“We are thrilled to be taking part in supporting and raising vital funds for kids and families impacted by congenital heart disease,” Mr Harris said.
“The more that we can raise to those in need, the better.”
Every year, Supercheap Auto stores across Australia choose a charity to raise funds towards.
Mr Harris said in the past, each store would choose its own fundraiser, but this year the entire national brand has decided to get behind the Be a Hero for HeartKids charity.
“Supercheap as a brand has always had a strong focus for supporting kids’ charities. We have held a significant amount of fundraisers for children over the years,” he said.
“This is just another way that we can contribute to helping children in need.”
Anyone who is interested in donating towards the cause can do so by visiting the Echuca Supercheap Auto store.
Each customer who attends the store will be asked whether they would like to donate and will have the option of donating any amount up to $50.
Mr Harris urged community members to come along to the store and donate.
“Reach into your pockets and help these kids as much as you can,” he said.
