Social golf keeping spirits up

“It’s a nice social game and not too much pressure,” group member Margaret Monks said. 

“We usually have around 12 ladies playing here but numbers are down because our Wahgunyah golfers can’t get across,” Ms Monks said.

The Lady Niners meet at 10am each Monday and are encouraging new players to come down and join them.

“We have all ages and abilities here. There is a small fee of $5 to cover costs and anything left over we donate to the local hospital or a charity,” Ms Monks said.
