The Apiam Animal Health and Fur Life Vet affiliated clinic is hosting an open day on Sunday, May 19.
It’s a chance for existing clients, prospective clients, future pet owners, and the general public to learn more about the local service and its team.
Clinic co-ordinator Shari Griggs said between 10.30am and 2.30pm, people can tour the facilities and speak with staff about a range of topics.
They’re also happy to offer some career advice if a career as a vet or vet nurse is in your future.
“It’s about increasing awareness in the community about the services we provide,” Ms Griggs said.
“Our gold standard facilities and equipment enable us to provide the highest level of care possible for your pets and animals.
“Our clinic is used by people all across the region, and we work with other Apiam clinics in the district as well.
“We’ve recently updated some of our equipment and practices, so it’s a great chance to see those too.
“Our staff will be here and can show you around, and answer any questions relating to nutrition or health care.”
As well as looking after your companion animal, the team at the Deniliquin Veterinary Clinic can offer services specifically for cattle, as well as dealing with other farm animals and equine matters.
A free sausage sizzle will held as part of the open day, and dog owners are welcome to bring their four legged friends provided they are well behaved and on a lead.
The Deniliquin Veterinary Clinic is located at 389 Poictiers St, Deniliquin.
