After what has seemed like an endless Term 1, students are looking forward to a relaxing two-week holiday starting Monday, April 7.
And what better way to spend the school holidays than heading down to the local library?
The team at Rochester library has organised some fun activities to keep kids of all ages entertained.
All Campaspe Shire libraries will be closed on the Good Friday public holiday.
- April 8, 3.30pm: Mirrors (ages 5+). Mirror, mirror on the wall — personalise a mirror for yourself.
- April 9, 1.30pm: afternoon movie. Bring nibbles and drinks and enjoy a family movie together.
- April 10, 10.30am to 4pm: Lego and games. Choose a game to play or build an amazing Lego structure. Free play.
- April 11, 1.30pm: Coliban presents “Wonderful Water”: A water education storytime and craft session facilitated by Coliban Water.
- April 15, 1.30pm: afternoon movie. Bring nibbles and drinks and enjoy a family movie together.
- April 16, 1.30pm: Scratch art (ages 5+). Create your own masterpiece using a board and scratching tool.
- April 17, 10.30am to 4pm: Lego and games. Choose a game to play or build an amazing Lego structure. Free play.
Rochester library, 43-45 Mackay St, is open Tuesday to Friday, 8.30am to 4.30pm (closed noon to 1pm for lunch) and Saturdays from 9.30am to 11.30am.
Bookings are essential for most activities as places are limited.
