In Greater Shepparton, more road closures have been put in place as of the time of writing - currently noon Friday.
Council has asked people, especially those living near the river, to download the VicEmergency app to keep up to date with warnings, check the Greater Shepparton City Council Facebook page and website, as well as the News website and local radio stations for updated information.
Council has also mentioned the SES managing the distribution of sandbags — you must call the SES on 132 500 first to ensure your call is triaged.
Kialla Recreation Reserve is again the hub for collection, with the opening hours 10am-2pm and 5pm-7pm today.
More locations may be added — this is not known yet.

In Seymour and surrounds, flash flooding and fallen trees have caused plenty of road closures.

Near Rochester, the Midland Hwy is closed at Burnewang, and the Heathcote-Rochester Rd is also closed.
The Hume Hwy’s Melbourne-bound lanes are closed between Benalla and Avenel, while the Heathcote-Nagambie Rd is also closed.
Ackerly Ave in Benalla is closed, as are Tarnook Rd, Mack Rd and Baddaginnie-Benalla Rd in nearby Baddaginnie.
