Main Street crash charge

Four bad accidents have happened this year alone. The Free Press continues to pursue the state government about the promised money to introduce urgent safety measures in the town’s main street.

Advice received last week from electorate Officer Jada Cannizzo in the office of the Member for Northen Victorian, Attorney General Jaclyn Symes, for our readers’ information and interpretation was:

“I am told we will have something to announce in the coming weeks. Really appreciate your patience – this has been a frustrating one for us as well.

“I have been following up constantly and will let you know as soon as we know.”

It is understood some Vic Roads inspections of Main Street occurred last week.
