This collaboration promises to be a thrilling day of racing, networking, and community celebration.
Limited tickets for this exclusive experience are now available, offering an opportunity for the community to come together and enjoy an unforgettable day at the races. The package includes gourmet food and beverages from local businesses, such as Corowa RSL Club, Blue Gum Catering, and Corowa Whisky and Chocolate, track entry and exclusive access to the Business Chamber’s “under the sails” area, making it a fantastic value for attendees.
On arrival guests will be treated to a spectacular grazing platter, followed by scrumptious canapé lunch, and delectable desserts and cakes, all served by local hospitality students. At conclusion of the day, local band Lucey will be performing, providing entertainment for all racegoers.
Corowa Business Chamber’s John Crothers said the chamber was excited about creating a unique experience that brings people together while supporting and promoting local businesses.
“A key focus for the chamber is increasing visitation and liveability. Part of that is recognising our key assets in the region, such as the Corowa Race Club, and promoting them to the broader region,” he said.
“This event isn’t just about horse racing; it’s about building a stronger, more connected community. The Corowa Race Club has been a cornerstone of our region, and we want to celebrate and support its success.
“It’s also an opportunity for local businesses to come together for networking and collaboration ahead of the festive season.
“We’re especially proud to involve local high school hospitality students, who will be gaining valuable experience at the event. Together, we’ll showcase the best of our region, from local produce to talented performers.”
Tickets for members are available for $130 per person, and for non-members, they are priced at $155 per person. Members are limited to two tickets each. Tickets can be purchased at https://events.humanitix.com/the-race-that-stops-the-region .
