Garden stalwarts recognised

The community garden held a special morning tea where members unveiled a new seat with two new plaques honouring both men.

Member Joan Palmer also delivered a beautiful ode to Mr David and Mr Fredericks.

Mr Davis is a founding member of the community garden while Mr Fredericks served as secretary from 2015-2021.

Corowa Community Garden President Sally Hughes thanked the ‘boys’ for their efforts.

“We are extremely grateful for the contribution they have made to building the physical and cultural aspects of the garden,” she said.

“Their efforts have made the garden a great place to visit and be a part of.”
