The Deniliquin Stadium hosted its school holiday program last week, and from all accounts was a lot of fun.

The four day program offered a full day of sporting activities, which stadium manager and program coordinator John Arthur said included sports drills, competitive games, skill-specific activities, and more.
“The kids always have a lot of fun. There have been plenty of fun activities, including basketball, dodgeball, gym music and the new indoor soccer, which the kids love.”
A key part of the program is the coordinated active fun that takes care of the kids for the day.
“The kids were active every day, which is great; they got involved which is always good to see.
“The kids learned about sportsmanship and the good behaviours required when interacting with others.
“They’ve also learned how to work together as a team in a fun environment.”
Mr Arthur said almost 40 children participated on each day of the program, and Mr Arthur thanks coaches Katrina Ives, Ellie Caruso and Bonnie Everett for coordinating the activities.
