Dayna Carter's Japan Trip. Thank you to the Oaklands community for supporting Dayna Carter, who will travel to Japan from September 30 to October 10. The CWA fundraising efforts have raised $1,600, including contributions from various local organizations. We wish her well on this great adventure.
Education Grants and Scholarships. CWA Phillip Group Education Grants: Applications open until July 31 for primary students (Years 3-6) and secondary students (Years 7-12). Contact Heather at 0447 335 201.

Frog focused event at the Whitehead St Wetlands
Corowa District Landcare are inviting the community to a family-friendly, frog-focussed event on Friday, July 26, from 5.30pm to 8pm at the Whitehead Street Wetlands.
Participants will take part in a guided frog survey of the Whitehead Street Wetlands by torchlight, learn about the threatened Sloane’s Froglet with frog experts Dave Hunter and Bryce Davies (Department of Climate Change, Energy, the Environment and Water), and find out how to be a “Sloane’s Champion” using the FrogID app to monitor frogs.
Participants are encouraged to bring a torch or headlamp if available, dress for the weather and wear enclosed shoes. Book online at: https://tinyurl.com/4kebxf76.
