The twelve-year-old current school captain of St Mary’s Corowa journey began dancing seven years ago when she joined Body Basics Dance Academy.
Her hard work and passion for dance led her to a fantastic opportunity to be a part of the local ballet production, along with four other dancers, Schuylar, Lily, Kayley, and Miley from the local dance school.
The young dancer was very excited to be selected for the performance earlier this year after auditioning with a friend.
“I felt awesome about having the opportunity to be a part of this performance. I think it is a great way to learn and achieve many possibilities,” she said.
Cienna played multiple roles in the production, showcasing her versatility and dedication. She portrayed a gardener, a friend of Alice, and even served as the understudy for the Cheshire Cat.
Reflecting on the rehearsal process, Cienna spoke highly of her experience.
