Joe Matera

Born and bred in Kyabram, Joe’s immense passion for music and the written word informs his two parallel careers. One as a musician that has seen him perform regularly on the stages in Europe. The other, as a journalist writing for international music magazines. Since July 2022, he has written the fortnightly ‘Musical Musings’ music page for the Shepparton News, reporting on all the happenings in the music world to his readers.
