Kyabram will be without Kyle Mueller and potentially Hayden Gemmill when it plays for its Goulburn Valley League life against Euroa tomorrow.
But one man who is standing tall in the absence of some of the Bombers’ usual scoreboard suspects is Kayne Pettifer.
The wily veteran may have booted 2.3 against the Shepparton Swans at the weekend, but it was some of his work off of the ball which stood out.
As you can see in the GVL Data vision below, Pettifer was smothering, shepherding, tackling and assisting all day long in round 18.
Those aspects of his game will again be crucial for his side against the Magpies in a do-or-die final.
One-out: Kayne Pettifer will again be missing the help of some of his fellow Kyabram forwards this weekend.
