Benalla takes on Seymour in the second part of the Goulburn Valley League’s round 16 split-round this Saturday.
The Saints will travel to Kings Park in search of their fourth win of the season, while Seymour — who in a quirk of the fixture also played in part one of the round due to a shifted round-two game — is looking for its fifth triumph of the year.
As a team, Benalla is third in the competition (by average per game) for one percenters (45.1), rebound 50s (36.5) and spoils (16.8).
Seymour sits second for marks (102.2) and uncontested marks (86.7) and third for frees for (22.4).
For the Saints to soar on Saturday it will take some mighty performances from their stars.
Last outing, Chris Welsh led the way on the stats sheet for Benalla — in a win over Mansfield — with 34 disposals, 21 contested possessions, 10 tackles, 13 clearances and 155 GVL Data ranking points.
James Martiniello was also superb, notching 26 disposals, eight tackles and 109 ranking points.
Philip Edgar was named best afield by the Saints in that clash, booting four goals and snaring five marks, four inside 50s and seven score involvements from his 14 disposals.
